In 6th grade social studies students will be learning about ancient civilizations that existed thousands of years ago in Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, Greece, and Rome. The curriculum offers a variety of learning opportunities throughout the year.
In 8th grade social studies students will be learning about U.S. history and government from the 1700-1900s. Students will explore ideas, issues, and events from the framing of the Constitution up through Reconstruction and industrialization. I am excited to have this opportunity to have so many of the 8th grade students back in my classroom again.
For both grade levels, I hope we have a great year together.
