Haller Middle School is collecting and recycling juice pouches!
Terra Cycle Inc., a company in New Jersey, recycles the pouches into usable items such as pencil pouches, backpacks, purses, and shower curtains. Terra Cycle Inc. sends 2 cents to The Nature Conservancy for every Capri Sun or Honest Kids pouch that we send them. Any other company pouch is worth 1 cent to The Nature Conservancy.
The P3 Hawk Friday Club organizes this activity and is encouraging all HMS families to send their pouches to school. Simply cut the top off, rinse them out, dry and send along with your child to the designated containers in the Commons at Haller Middle School.
